Miko Armon started practicing yoga after battling many addictions, injuries and traumas. "I did not know who I was. I did not feel good about myself. I did not feel like I belonged. I felt unlovable and alone. My body ached, my heart was broken and my mind was in chaos. I felt lost and did not know what to do. I decided to take a yoga class. It was amazing! I felt a sense of peace and serenity after the class. I kept practicing yoga. And a few years later, here I am, a yoga teacher. I am here to let my light shine and encourage your light to shine. It is my honor to share the teachings of yoga to all people. As a woman of color, I am Japanese and German, I welcome diversity and respect all people. I encourage people to take care of themselves; body, mind and soul. And honor their selves daily. It is my belief that we can all live in peace and harmony. We are all One in the Divine."
